Volunteer Work and Affiliation
"The best way to find yourself is to lose yourself in the service of others" -Mahatma Gandhi
The Princess Ball of Greater Orlando
I've had the honor of being involved with the Princess Ball of Greater Orlando since 2017. The Princess Ball of Greater Orlando is an annual father-daughter dance that serves to benefit Advent Health, formerly known as Florida Health, Bridges of Light Foundation, Crossroads Corral, and other charities of choice. I made an appearance as Miss Central Florida at the 2017 Princess Ball and served as a volunteer for two years to follow.

Guys With Ties Philanthropy
Guys With Ties Philanthropy is a non-profit organization based in Orlando, Florida. This group of professional men raise funds and awareness for local charities by planning themed events throughout the year. Best known for their annual White Party, which I first attended in 2015, Guys With Ties has benefited over 40 charities since its founding in 2005. In recognition of my regular attendance, I was offered the title of Ambassador for the organization in 2018. Since that time, I've worked to promote the organization's charitable events and helped recruit new volunteers for the organization.

The Association of Junior Leagues International
The Junior League's mission statement is as follows, "The Association of Junior Leagues International, Inc. (AJLI) is an organization of women committed to promoting voluntarism, developing the potential of women and improving communities through the effective action and leadership of trained volunteers. Its purpose is exclusively educational and charitable."
My involvement with the Junior League began in Orlando, Florida in 2018. The Junior League of Orlando works to serve a dire need in its community. With an organization of over 100 women, the Junior League of Orlando serves the community's homeless, entertains sick and injured children, acts as role models for underprivileged girls, and trains each of its members to be effective civic leaders.
My involvement with the Junior League now continues in Fort Myers, Florida. I am excited to make an impact on a new community and further develop myself alongside a group of driven and benevolent women.

The Miss America Organization
With scholarship as my main incentive, I won my first title with the Miss America Organization in 2014. Because I had no experience in pageantry I was not sure what to expect. I soon realized that the competition portion of pageantry only takes a few days out of the year. After a young woman earns a title with the Miss America Organization she will quickly realize the true values and purpose of the organization...
Differing from other pageant systems, the Miss America Organization is not about modeling or profit. The Miss America Organization is 501(c)4 Non-Profit Organization that awards scholarships to teens and young women in exchange for a year of service. During my five years of service I advocated for the disabled, fundraised for countless causes, visited children's hospitals, acted as a mentor, and volunteered my time at several charitable events.
Outside of our philanthropic pursuits, the organization worked to develop its titleholders as young professionals. The other titleholders and I were expected to adhere to strict rules of conduct during our years of service. I represented my organization in both professional and sensitive settings, I acted as a social media marketer, and I was able to increase my leadership and public speaking skills exponentially during my time involved with the organization.

Charitable Attendance
Who says leisure has to be without merit? As Guys With Ties Philanthropy coined, "Party for a purpose!" Whether a food drive, toy drive, fundraiser, or volunteerism, there are so many ways to give back.
I had the privilege of attending the Margarita Ball of Orlando and Daytona in December of 2018! It was so awe-inspiring and rewarding to see a growing mountain of toys during each gala. Hundreds of underprivileged children received gifts for the holidays thanks to the efforts of those two Margarita Societies.
Imagine if the Season of Giving could last all year. My network and I aim to create a culture of charity. The organizations for which I affiliate myself are always looking to collaborate and form mutually beneficial relationships with others to benefit the community. After all, some of the best experiences in life are the ones that benefit others.
